Wilburn Productions, with both a London UK and Zante, Greek islands base, was founded by ourselves,  Romani and Michele Wilburn -  a UK family team who have worked on productions together for over ten years.  Most couples find it a definite bonus when they are marrying in Zante, to have a wedding videographer and photographer  who are are both English speaking, and have a thorough understanding of UK culture and expectations.  It definitely helps  to have an English speaking team capturing your wedding day in Zante for photo and DVD productions!

Video Memories of a Special Wedding Day from the 1950′s!

We like to share  this charming video snippet of Diana and Keith Wilburn, beautiful grandparents of Romani, and parents of Michele Wilburn. On holiday in New Zealand recently we met an old family friend who had footage of their wedding day, captured on one of the earliest home movie formats in the early 1950′s.  We were excited to be able to transfer snippets of their wedding day video footage  into this small wedding montage for the web. Regardless of the poor quality, seeing their video footage really brought home to us personally the importance of having your wedding day captured professionally by a videographer. The footage that is preserved for many years to come will enable your grandchildren and their grandchildren to identify with your wedding day, along with relatives and family friends, even long after they have passed away.

We hope that you will still be watching your Wilburn Productions Wedding Story on DVD  for many years to come as well!

Romani Wilburn

Romani’s first endeavor into producing films began with her mother Michele, on a film shoot in Petra, Jordan at the tender age of fourteen – many years ago!  With bases in both London and Zante, she has since produced photography and video projects with Michele covering stories with a wide range of  subjects and in a variety of locations all over the world. Romani established Wilburn Productions to specifically focus on destination wedding productions.

Romani began her career in media, photography and film with a years training and tutoring with an American based organization. As they travelled around the world she was part of their media production team. She learned valuable skills in photography, videography, editing and post-production. Working under time pressure to produce movies and photographic slideshows for large audiences, always in a different location around the world each week,  Romani loved the buzz of filming and shooting in cities including Tokyo, New York, Rome, Vancouver and Berlin.

Romani studied for an M.A in History at Cambridge University, before deciding to focus  her work further in media,  in particular with photography and videography.  She chose to specialize in productions for Weddings in Zante,  with a focus on wedding photography and videography, including all areas of post production.  She has worked on hundreds of weddings in Zante, as well as providing magazine photos and developing commercial productions and projects, during her years in Zakynthos.

Romani loves film and photography, both professionally and as a hobby. In her spare time, she has traveled all over the world with her cameras - from the beautiful cities and states of North America, to the lively countries of Asia, throughout Europe, and Australasia

Michele Wilburn

Michele is a published author,  presenter and producer of a  wide range of video productions.  In addition to hundreds of weddings in Zante she has produced many documentaries, and continues to produce a wide range of healthy lifestyle and exercise DVD productions. A New Zealander by origin,  she has been based in London UK for many years,  from where she travels often for production purposes. When not at home in London, she loves to spend time on the island of Zakynthos.

Michele is warm and sociable, a perfectionist in her work, and extremely creative with her vision in capturing your wedding day with style.  She loves to move her wedding couples and parties into beautiful poses and action shots, and has a real eye for capturing the often hidden yet treasured details of your wedding in Zante.

With a dedication to her work that is second to none, Michele always  has a smile on her face at your wedding, helping her couples to totally relax and feel at ease in front of the cameras!

Michele is looking forward to meeting all of the beautiful couples coming to get married in Zakynthos in 2012, she is probably just as excited as you are!
