Our Personal Favorite Zante – Zakynthos Wedding Extras
With years of experience, we have a few personal favorite additions to a Greek Island Wedding day that always brings a smile to the bride, groom and guests. Greek dancers, live seranaders, a horse and carriage ride and surprise fireworks are always extra special touches to your Zante wedding day.
Greek Dancers
Very often we stay on to capture your Wedding Story Reception coverage and we have come to see the value of having Greek Dancers at your wedding. Firstly, it provides a real treat for your guests, giving them a taste of Greek culture and dance at its very best. Moreover, the dancers always help to get everyone up off their seats and into the party spirit. We love to see our couples and their guests dancing the Zorba with joy. Often the bride has her dress hitched up and is dancing away Greek style.
Horese & Carriage
The addition of a horse and carriage to your bridal arrival or post-ceremony departure always adds a touch of the fairtytale to your Zante wedding story. The little flowergirls and children love to see the horse drawn carriage turn up, and honestly all of the guests rather enjoy it too! For us, from behind the camera, we always enjoy the romance of a horse drawn wedding carriage, especially when the horse does a little trick for our lens!

Live Seranaders & Music
The Zakynthian people are famous for their singing and seranading – known as kandathes. Traditionally the young lovers would seranade underneath their love’s window. You can choose to have local seranaders at your wedding – either for the arrival of the bride, or during the post-ceremony mingling time. A Greek band can also be hired for your reception to entertain your guests and play alongside the Greek dancers. The addition of live music always increases the energy level and spirit at wedding days, especially when you get a talented bouzouki player turning up the tempo.
Fireworks
We have noticed that many brides and grooms choose to surprise their family and guests with a fireworks display towards the end of the evening. After a fantastic day of celebrations this is a truly magical way to enhance your night.
