Zante beach weddings at the location of Vadiola
Within the region of Vardiola in Kypseli there are two beautiful wedding locations. The church up on the hill, overlooking expanses of Ionian Sea is a charming Greek chapel and ampitheatre where you can exchange your vows.
This is a gorgeous Zante wedding location with plenty of charm and authenticity. Alternatively, just down the hill by the sea, there is a family-run restaurant and garden area where many Zakynthos wedding ceremonies and receptions take place.
The Vardiola garden setting provides the feeling of being right on the beach with the bonus of being on slightly more solid ground on the grass. Vardiola garden ceremonies in Zante are, without a doubt, one of the most relaxed ways to get married in Zakynthos. There are no bridges or hills, the ceremony and reception all take place in one spot, and the beach at the bottom is a lovely place for Zakynthos wedding photography and video. We find that there is consistent natural lighting at Vardiola throughout the summer months – beautiful sunshine all the way through the ceremony and photo sessions really helps us to achieve the best for you. We love to take our couples down to the beach for a little time out as husband and wife, and have achieved some beautiful results at this Zante wedding location.
A typical experience of a Vardiola beach wedding in Zante
Variola beach Weddings in Zakynthos tend to be very straightforward and relaxed events. We spend some time with the groom and bridal party down in the gardens before the arrival of the bride. Guests can have a drink from the garden bar and mingle in the sunshine before proceedings begin. In this time we like to capture all of the details of your flowers, rings and decorations.
The entrance of the bride at Vardiola can either be by bridal car or horse and carriage. We love the addition of the horse and carriage to your Zante wedding photography and video package as it really adds a touch of romance to your wedding story book and film. The ceremony and signing of the register at Vardiola either takes place in the gardens overlooking the sea or at the chapel at the top of the hill. Both are very pretty locations for exchanging your vows.
There is a grass area directly above the beach where the post-wedding photos and fun, as well as evening receptions tend to take place. Alternatively, there is an indoor section to the restaurant where receptions can be held if you prefer.
Don’t Forget if you choose your Zante beach wedding at Vadiola
We have two main suggestions for weddings taking place at Vardiola in Zakynthos. Firstly, bear in mind that it is a garden and your heals may well sink into the grass. You can avoid this by wearing flat shoes, platforms or placing heal caps over your high heels. Secondly, we have noticed that there is often a breeze at Vardiola – especially at the beginning and end of the summer season. We recommend a hair style that is well dressed so you dont have hair blowing into your face during the ceremony or photography session. If not, make sure your bridesmaids have a few hair grips on them just in case you want to make a last minute adjustment.
